THE BLUE HONEST STORY
We didn't start with a toothbrush or even a laser. We started with the technology.
We're a health technologies company built around wavelengths, frequencies, and the way energy affects the body. Before we develop any products, we start by asking, "how does this technology deserve to be implemented?"
The answer shapes everything that follows.
Dr. Douglas Wine's interest in wellness technology goes back well before Blue Honest, and well before he moved back to the US after 14 years in Europe, where he practiced in some of the latest fields of holistic and alternative health and wellness.
More than 30 years ago, he began developing therapeutic laser systems, long before they became a mainstream offering. Over those 30 years, he went on to develop and fabricate his first several laser devices, from whole-body laser beds to weight loss systems, to the types of systems we offer today. The one thing that remained the same throughout these years was his continuous pursuit to push the limits of the scientific understanding of both laser technologies and the frequencies that enhance them.
That hands-on development, the esearch behind it, and thousands upon thousands of applications led directly to the technologies we offer through Blue Honest today: the PRO VX, an FDA-cleared clinically recognized photobiomodulation laser built for practitioners, but available to the consumer, the PRO LIGHT+ , an FDA-cleared multi-wavelength LED and pulsed
frequency toothbrush, and more in development.

Why This Work Matters
Austin Wine grew up around these technologies, as you can imagine given the shared last name (hint, hint...he's Dr. Wine's son). His participation in the wellness industry began in 2006, when he helped grow and manage wellness clinics focused on cellular regeneration and performance optimization.
At Lyme Laser Centers, where he still functions as CEO, Austin has spent a decade working with, and helping develop lasers as well as other wellness technologies and protocols for people living with chronic and often debilitating illness. As part of his work there, he also implements numerous other health technologies and practices from AVE (audio-visual entrainment), to microcurrent therapy, to nutrition.
Over 14 years ago, he helped found the supplement company, Wholly Liquid, Inc., and more recently founded LYFELY, Inc., a brand that's building upon what Wholly Liquid started. Like with Blue Honest, these companies grew out of the necessity to put advanced technology into practice.
Something Austin continually references is that the body operates in a balanced, compensatory way, where each system relies on and stimulates another. Understanding the way these systems work and their influence on each other is critical when the goal is to achieve genuine health, longevity, and performance.
Together, Douglas and Austin have decades of combinedhands-on experience, much of which is directly with the people who need these technologies most. That experience has pushed their team to keep driving the technology forward.
For so many, this isn't just about improving one's health. Access to powerful health technologies like these can mean restoring their lives.

Looking Into the Light
Light is one of the most basic inputs the body receives, and one of the most powerful. It's also one of the most overlooked.
Light in daily life. Light tells the body what time it is. Morning light signals the body to wake and be alert, and fading evening light signals it to wind down. It reaches us through the eyes and skin every day, whether or not we think about it.
Light at the cellular level. Inside nearly every cell are mitochondria, which produce most of the energy a cell runs on through a series of reactions called the electron transport chain. Certain wavelengths of light (violet, blue, green, red and near infrared), are absorbed by components of that chain, including an enzyme called cytochrome c oxidase. When developed properly, lasers enable us to harness the specific parameters of light that create a positive affect. That interaction is the foundation of photobiomodulation, and it is why the choice of wavelengths, frequencies, and
energy matters so much.
A pathway into the body. Light gives wavelength, frequency, and energy a way to engage with the body. Getting those three variables right is the work, and it is the reason we build the way we do.
We're Still Asking Questions
Blue Honest is the product and innovation arm of that larger body of work—focused on taking ideas born from years of research and turning them into practical technology for everyday life.
The technology came first. We're just getting started with where it can go.
